Cannes runs on two calendars at once. There is the festival and congress calendar — film in May, advertising and yachting later in the year — which fills the Croisette hotels and the beach clubs with brand hospitality. And there is the wedding and private celebration calendar in the villas of La Californie and the hills towards Mougins and Mandelieu.
The two need different things from us. Festival and brand events want a beautifully presented, hosted focal point that photographs well and needs no attention from the client. Weddings and villa parties want something warmer and slower that fits into a long day.

Venues and settings
During festival periods the Croisette is closed, restricted or congested for much of the day, and hotels operate tight delivery windows. We plan Cannes deliveries around those windows, usually arriving well before the published guest time, and we confirm loading access with the venue rather than the client.
Beach club events add a second consideration: surfaces. Carts stand on decking or matting, not sand, and we agree the position with the club in advance.

Expect earlier set-up. We build the extra time into our plan and do not charge it as an extra hour.

We need a firm level surface and a shaded position for anything chilled or frozen.
Branding
Personalised cones, napkins and menu boards are available where a brand presence is wanted; the carts themselves keep their ivory and gold finish.

Cannes is within the standard service area, so travel is included.

- Yes, and we plan for it. Deliveries are scheduled around the road and hotel restrictions, and we arrive early rather than risk a closed access route. Book as far ahead as you can for those weeks.
- Can the carts be branded for a corporate activation in Cannes?
- We offer personalised cones, napkins and a custom menu board, which cover most brand requirements tastefully. We do not wrap or re-livery the carts themselves.
- Do you serve beach clubs and yacht events in Cannes?
- Yes. For beach clubs we need a firm, level, ideally shaded position. For yacht hospitality, quayside service or roaming champagne usually works better than a cart on deck.
